Refugee Women Enterprise Support

Enterprise skills and start-up support for refugee and host-community women in settlement districts.

Objectives

  • To empower refugee women entrepreneurs with technical skills, business knowledge, certification, and support services to establish and grow sustainable enterprises.

Activities

  • Identify and profile refugee women entrepreneurs in hosting districts.
  • Provide vocational skills training in soap making, hairdressing, bakery, tailoring, and other trades.
  • Link beneficiaries to Business Development Services, including entrepreneurship training, branding, and financial literacy.
  • Facilitate Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT) assessments and certification.

Outcomes

  • Increased number of refugee women with practical skills and improved business capacity.
  • Improved access to certification, markets, and enterprise support services.
  • Strengthened refugee women-led businesses contributing to sustainable livelihoods.
