Organisation Timeline

2008
Foundation Established
NUWEBIZ Foundation Ltd legally registered in Uganda, headquartered in Lira City.
2012
First MOU Network
Signed MOUs with partners across Northern Uganda districts enabling coordinated skills training.
2016
Empowerment Fund Launch
Launched the NUWEBIZ Empowerment Fund, providing business loans using group solidarity as collateral.
2020
41 Districts Coverage
Expanded operations to all 41 districts of Greater Northern Uganda through strategic field teams.
2023
Minister Officiates Graduation
Minister of Gender officiated the pass-out ceremony for hundreds of skilled women entrepreneurs.
2026
GROW Project, 42,000 Women Targeted
Active implementation of the World Bank-funded GROW Project targeting 42,000 women in Northern Uganda.
